These kits are our best selling combined kits. It is still possible to buy the resin and fibrelass matting seperatly if specif weights or sizes are required.

Polyester Resin - is ideal for a wide range of applications , Its optimised for using with Fibreglass Matting called Chopped Strand Matt ( CSM )

There are two versions of resin available : Value and Lloyds Approved :

Encore 30 : This premium resin from Polynt is Lloyds approved and has excellent wet out characteristics fro hand lay-up and laminating. The Lloyds approval is relevant for Marine Craft repairs where the Lloyds insurance cover requires approved products to maintain insurance cover

Value Resin : Whilst not Lloyds approved , it still has excellent wet out characteristics. Its well suited for all non Marine craft projects including Roofs and Ponds projects. The resin has a blue dye that will dissipate once the resin is activated with the MEKP catalyst .

Chopped Strand Matting. The fibreglass Matting in these kits is called Chopped Strand Matt, It comes in various weights but our range of combined kits tend to have 300g or 450g ( per Sq M ) included. The ratio of resin to fibreglass is 2.5kg of Resin per 1kg of fibreglass..
